I never spoke of hardship,
Convinced it was for the better.
Yet, you asked what was wrong,
And it started with a letter.
I wrote things,many hard things,
That I never had let escape.
The words poured like rain,
A storm taking its shape.
A tale of hidden anger,fear,
Exhaustion that pained.
A glimpse of the unspoken.
A pure soul crimson stained.
I never told anyone so much,
Mostly stuck to the weather.
Yet, you seemed to truly care,
So I decided to write a letter.
You wanted to speak about it,
To give me a chance to explain
What it was that kept me awake,
What devils called my name.
I entered quite cautiously,
Shaken by the loud silence.
Sitting beside your concerned expression,
Unsure of compliance.
You sat straight up,
A smile warm as knitted sweater.
You told me to take a seat,
Pulling out my letter.
Then you began to speak,
Of a ship whom was lost at sea,
Sails being blown each way.
The captain being me.
"You remind me of myself,"
Came words of astoundment.
"Someone who is steering a ship."
A touching avouchment.
As you continued to comfort,
You broke the lock upon my fetter,
The burden began to dwindle,
I was glad I wrote that letter.
Words didn't escape my mouth,
Instead my heart came to a stop.
Tears flowed with relief,
You watched as they'd drop.
Allowing me to stay,
Helping me with every trial.
You remained beside me,
Through each tear and each smile.
You mean beyond words to me,
I could never ask for better.
A Shepherd that found a lost lamb,
And it started with a letter.
Convinced it was for the better.

Loki X Reader: Moments of Fluff Pt. 2
4. Meeting the Family
You had been a little hesitant to bring Loki to your mother’s house to meet your family. It wasn’t because you thought he was going to do something horrible to them; it was because your family was quiet large and knowing them the night could have turned into a gigantic disaster. But, oddly enough, it didn’t.
After your mother called you for the thousandth time that day, you brought up the idea to Loki and he surprisingly agreed. He had said that he had been courting you for a very long time and it was about time he met your family. You warned him that he didn’t know what he was getting in to

"Am I cursed?"
You were hiding behind a pillar listening as Loki spoke with his father. Yes, you were a Midgardian, in Asgard. Loki had developed an interest in you after following Thor to Midgard one time. Your relationship with Loki had grown through many more visits and he had invited you to live in Asgard so you could be closer to him. Odin had agreed begrudgingly, but didn't approve of Thor or Loki being with Midgardian ladies.
This particular day, you had been planning to meet Loki in the hallway and attack him with kisses, but had heard him talking with his father and decided to eavesdrop.
"No." Odin replied.
"What am I?"
"You're

(Tell me what you think! ;) No really, Comment!)
You shot up from your stone-cold slumber at the sound of a thunderous boom. Heart pounding, mind racing, hair disheveled, and adrenaline running through your veins; it was all you could feel besides the repetitive waves of fear controlling your whole body. You tried to replay the sound in your mind to try to get a sense of what that crash could have been. Finally, a deep gasp and heavy breathing seemingly came from that same direction and you raced to a window nearest to your front door. When you got there, the silhouette of a man, who was moaning and coughing softly, sat in a huge crater just
